Cole Duncan
Overview
Cole Duncan is an experienced litigation attorney at Porterfield, Harper, Mills, Motlow & Ireland. Cole focuses on medical malpractice,commercial trucking, and wrongful death actions, but also has experience litigating premises liability,dram-shop, automobile accidents, construction defects, civil fraud, and general liability defense cases through completion, including mediation and jury trial. Cole strives to achieve satisfactory results for each of his clients. As senior associate, Cole brings a thoughtful and diligent approach to each matter, contributing to case strategy, legal research, and client advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Cole gained valuable experience as a solo practitioner, managing a diverse caseload, and developing a strong foundation in client representation, courtroom advocacy, and case management. Cole earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law and is admitted to practice in Alabama. Cole resides with his wife and threechildren right outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Outside of his legal practice, Cole spends his free time attending sporting events and playing golf.
